On the opening day of Film Harvest 2012, look forward to a special musical performance titled “CINEMA CLASSICS” by Raveolution Studios to kick start Bangalore’s first International Film Festival. The performance will showcase original soundtracks from 21 cinema classics, which will be performed by 30 musicians, including a string section. Scenes and clips from the respective films will be played on a large screen for a sense of nostalgia. In addition to the variety of music on offer, one will also get to enjoy the talents of musicians and singers from all over India and the world at this exclusive event.
The underlying theme of the performance is to showcase 'Art inspired by Art – Music inspired by Cinema'.

Ricky Kej, a dentist by profession began his journey into music by producing jingles for television and radio and in a span of 10 years he has produced over 3000 jingles (TV and Radio) for varied clients like Essilor, Levis, Air India, Blaupunkt, IBM, Toyota, SAB Miller, Nike, Springfield, Biocon, Lifestyle group, Kingfisher, Hindustan Levers, Airtel etc.
Kej released his first international lounge album - 'Communicative Art - Lounge from the Bay' in the year 2003 to rave reviews. Songs from this album have found its way into over 20 international compilations in France, Poland, China, Taiwan, India, Israel, Germany, etc. His second and third album 'Kamasutra Lounge part 1 & 2' was released in the year 2007. This too was a critical and commercial success. This album was released in USA with Universal Music USA. To this date 'Kamasutra Lounge' is one of the most successful 'New Age' music albums in the USA.
Ricky has also received numerable accolades for his work as a Music Director in mainstream Indian cinema with work on movies such as the Kannada film 'Accident', where his song 'Baa Maleye Baa' was adjudged the best song of 2008, 'Venkata in Sankata' which was adjudged one of the biggest hits of 2009 and 'Crazy Kutumba’.
Ricky’s latest venture 'Rave iBAND' is something that’s been grabbing some eyeballs recently, with the uniqueness being that the band members play music using smart phones and tablets (the guitarist uses a guitar app, drummer uses a drum app, etc). In fact even the vocalist sings into a smart phone using a microphone app! A first of its kind in Asia, music from the Rave iBAND is being featured on radio stations in UK, Kenya, Dubai and India.
Ricky has just completed producing and composing a "World Fusion" album for release internationally called 'Rang Do'. This album features the voices of Shankar Mahadevan, Hariharan, Ustad Sultan Khan, Mahalaxmi Iyer, Anup Jalota and Vasundhara Das. This album will be released worldwide early 2012.
One of Bangalore’s most popular Jazz, Retro and Rock singers, Riccha has lent her voice in over 500 jingles for varied national and international clients and has sung for various international bands across India. Her most recognized works include having sung the official remix of AR Rahmans 'Chiggy Wiggy' for 'Dance the Golden Years' music compilation for USA markets and two compilation albums for Virgin Music.
Natallia Kapylova is a Belarus born concert pianist. She studied at the Lunacharsky Conservatory (Belarus State Academy of Music) where she obtained a Bachelor of Music degree in Classical Piano, Artist of Chamber Ensemble and Concert Master Diploma. Natallia worked as a teacher at the Belarus College of Arts in the capacity of a Concert Master at the Conservatory and served as a professional pianist with the Music Band of Belarus Society of Blind.
Jude Lazaro is a baritone soloist who has sung and performed across India with various choirs and musical groups including Glorious, Soul Seekers, K#, Firebrands and the Cecilian Choir. He was one of the soloists on the Levi's One's to Watch series of music concerts in Bangalore. His love for music is as strong as his love for theatre. Jude has been a part of various theatre productions by Akshay Vijayan and the CAUSE Foundation.
Junior Bay began his musical journey In October 2004, with the choir AGNUS DEI from his district in Congo. With an ambition to make it large, Junior enrolled himself in a school of music where he learned to play the flute, music theory and vocals. With this passion for music he became one of the technical director in the same choir. Junior has won many singing contests with the college, including the Youth Festival from where he went on to become a representative of the National Inter-university Youth Festival).
